Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Us!
Join us at the Academy Center of the Arts on Friday, October 17, 2025, for an unforgettable evening honoring the richness of Hispanic culture!
From 7–9 PM, take the stage—or cheer on others—at our Open Mic Forum, where music, poetry, dance, and stories will bring our community’s talents to life.
Then, from 9–11:30 PM, the energy turns up for a Latin Dance Party with sizzling salsa, bachata, and more, spun by the incredible DJ Ed.
Come hungry! Local vendors will be serving up authentic Latin and Spanish flavors throughout the night.
This FREE celebration is all about connection, joy, and honoring the heart of Hispanic Heritage Month. Bring your friends, your moves, and your spirit of celebration—let’s make it a night to remember!
¡Celebra el Mes de la Herencia Hispana con Nosotros!
Acompáñanos en el Academy Center of the Arts el jueves, 17 de octubre de 2025, para una noche inolvidable que honra la riqueza de la cultura hispana.

Age Requirement
All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket for this event unless otherwise stated. All ages are welcome.
Camera Policy
Videography and audio recording during the performances are prohibited. Photography of the set on stage is allowed pre-show, post-show, and during intermission. But we do ask that you show our designers and visiting performers some love by crediting them (and by tagging us) in your social media posts.

Doors Open
Unless otherwise noted, our lobby doors open 60 minutes prior to show time and house doors open 30 minutes prior to show time for seating.
Parking & Directions
Parking is available on-site and throughout downtown Lynchburg. Our parking map (linked below) shows all of the free public and paid parking available. In addition, street parking is also available on most streets.
